Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, first private pathology practice in Australia to achieve AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 certificiation.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology’s Coffs Harbour and Grafton laboratories recently became the first private pathology labs in Australia to be awarded international environmental certification. This is the first step in the entire SNP network becoming certified to the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems standard.
ISO 14001:2004 provides a structured framework for an Environmental Management System (EMS). This management tool allows SNP to:
• identify and control the environmental impact of it’s activities, products or services, and to
• improve it’s environmental performance continually, and to
• implement a systematic approach to setting environmental objectives and targets, to achieving these and to demonstrating that they have been achieved
