Dr Bev Rowbotham trained in haematology in Brisbane and at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. While her MD was awarded for work in thrombosis research, she maintains an active interest in all areas of diagnostic haematology. She is Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Queensland and was President of the RCPA 2007–2009.
