Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has considerable experience in the provision of clinical trial services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and university departments.

SNP was involved in early phase 1 trials of the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine in a project with the Commonwealth Serum laboratory to develop the vaccine invented by Professor Ian Fraser. More recently, it has been involved in trials in Vanuatu, testing a simple technique to provide an HPV screening method for Third-World countries.

We are currently involved in over 65 trials, covering all phases of clinical trials.

SNP provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All samples are processed immediately on arrival with most reports being returned to the investigator site/sponsor within 24 hours by transmission medium of your choice.

SNP Clinical Trials maintains its own -70 degree C freezer for either short or long term storage of specimens.

Trial Management
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has a dedicated trials team who are able to tailor our service to meet your trials specific requirements.  We are able to provide trial and visit specific collection kits or provide a bulk supply of collection equipment.  Comprehensive, easy to use laboratory manuals are provided for each investigator site, as well as trial specific training at site initiation meetings, to ensure good site compliance. 

Logistics
Whilst utilising the extensive coverage of our own courier network, Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology also works in close co-operation with major courier companies to supply investigator sites with supplies, and rapid pick-up and return of samples for testing.  We have also gained certification in the transport of biological and dangerous goods, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Secure Data Downloads
SNP is able to provide data downloads to the data management team ensuring uncorrupted trial data. 

We validate our electronic systems and processes to ensure compliance with US 21CFR11.

Quality Assurance
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Clinical Trials has a dedicated Quality Manager, who maintains an internal audit program to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ISO.
