Pre-test preparation is required
Skin prick tests can only be performed on clean, dry and
healthy skin and results can be affected by some oral medications
and topical creams and gels. Therefore, before your test, usually
at the time of booking, it is important that our collector asks you
about your medications.
How much do allergy tests cost?
Medicare Australia provides limited rebates for allergy tests.

RAST® Tests
Standard Panels

Medicare Australia limits rebates for RAST® Tests to
a maximum of 4 allergens per pathology request and a maximum of 4
RAST® Test episodes per year.
