Located adjacent to the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital this modern NATA-accredited facility, which opened in 2017, focuses on surgical pathology and cytology. 

• Our pathologists report a full range of surgical histopathology (including frozen sections); and cytology (including Fine Needle Aspiration).
• Our procedural centre performs a wide range of specialised tests including skin allergy testing and bone marrows. Bone marrows under anaesthetic are performed at private hospitals and Nambour Day Surgery.
• Our three full time pathologists have numerous special interests including breast pathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and gynaecological pathology and all are active members of the local medical community attending regular interdisciplinary clinical meetings with colleagues in other specialities to review and discuss cases.
