Hervey Bay laboratory

Working within St Stephen's Private Hospital at Hervey Bay, we provide a 24 hour on-call service to the hospital as well as community pathology services to general practitioners, specialists, and day surgeries throughout the Fraser Coast district.  

• Routine haematology, microbiology, biochemistry, coagulation, and blood bank are all performed in the lab.
• We employ more than 50 local staff and have collection centres located throughout the Maryborough and Hervey Bay regions. The Fraser Coast collection, courier and laboratory teams provide a rapid, expert pathology service to the community.
